As with shoes, watches, cars, etc it depends on your style. Bulgari, Piaget, Tiffany, Cartier have very beautiful and iconic designs. Personally I buy Leo Pizzo, Tacori, and Damiani for jewelry brands. My AD carries Hearts and Arrows/HOF for loose diamond... 

... as the last piece was just a couple of months back But it's never too early to acquire some knowledge for next time! Thanks for your list MW!

for me one of the big big guys- highly talented and gifted - had the chance to meet him in person - a wonderful guy i will post a tie pin he just manufactured for me. he is well known for its (better his fathers) gemstones and the beautiful email work. ha... 

I had a look at the web site and his work with putting enamel and gemstones together is very unique and beautiful indeed!
