We ventured out today for the very first time since March just for lunch and it was pretty much the same. The restaurants and cafés were sparsely populated due to social distancing rules. I guess this is the summer that never was [nt]

A glass with friends. You will notice that there are not much people on the Terrasses... And a promenade in the Ile St Louis... A guy was playing, For the biggest pleasure of... The dog. Best, Nicolas ...

Random thoughts.

Not equating my hometown in Ohio to Paris by any means, but I have the same melancholy feeling looking at these pics as I did at dinner out tonight. Where are the people? (even though I know where they are). The boat on the water looks so nice. I need to ...

Neither did I. [nt]

Very melancholic feeling indeed. It doesn't look like Paris in Summer. Though, I bet a lot of Parisians are pleased to have their city for themselves without the tourists.

I am in Paris quarterly more or less, but it saddens me that last time I was coming, the TGVs were cancelled due to the strikes, then COVID-19. A 2020 without Paris so far
