We drove to a park we'd never visited before, and were quite charmed by the first few sights. Such as this rock / succulent arrangement right at the sidewalk, and a bunch of bananas (not quite ripe enough), and a gorgeous flower. Does it say TROPICAL loud...

The surf culture in SD must be lively and robust 😎

I’m a used-to-be, wanna-be surfer but actually I prefer body surfing … more swimming less paddling and no boards messing up my cars.

bike path on bike rides. The trunk of that pine tree makes it difficult to peg that JDM van but I think it's either a Mitsubishi Delica 4WD or a Toyota Hi-Ace 4WD. Both are usually turbo diesel and both are very desirable! Thanks for the inspiration to ge... 

Glad you enjoyed the trip! Maybe you have seen this too: Up-market street campers, with new Winnebago / Sprinter van, 3 dogs, motorcycle and the usual piles of debris spread around... 3rd dog in front of the van, not shown 🙂 ...

Beaches surrounding it, and lovely homes. A nice place to visit with a smaller-town feel. My mom lived there for 6-7 years.
