TimeOut

The beginning of Summer with a 'Blue' Party!

It's the beginning of Summer and what better way to start than a special company party at Dodger Stadium.
The Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team was away for games in San Diego, so we had the stadium all to ourselves.
Weather was perfect here in SoCal as we arrived in the afternoon.

Dodger Blue is displayed everywhere!

Time to check in smile

What's going on at the Dodger outfield?

Hmmm, let's take a closer look....

We take the elevator down to the Dodger Dugout Club and walk down the hallway that proudly displays the history and winning achievements of the Dodgers.

I see some familiar faces on the wall, most were my childhood baseball heroes that I grew up watching....

We're not going into the Dugout Club....

But getting closer to the field...

Only 100 feet away!

Awesome!  We get to play on the field!

My AP Royal Oak checks out the Dodger Dugout...

And I'm looking for a bat to see if I can hit a few balls on the field smile

As we walk towards the outfield there were lots of games and activities for the kids to play...

And plenty of tasty treats to eat like these cheese quesadillas

And mini Dodger Dogs!  Yummy!

Our Company Party also had a laser tag type game...

Kids were shown how to use their laser guns to aim at their opponents...

More food was served at the new Tommy Lasorda's Trattoria in the outfield.  Pizza, meatball sandwiches, chicken parmesan, and Italian sausage subs were delicious.

Meatball sandwich was tasty but bit-sized.  Needed a few of these to go with my waffle fries.

3 types of mac n' cheese as a side dish.

2 types of hot wings (buffalo tasted better than the terriyaki wings)

And something very Californian, grilled corn on the cob with mayo, lime juice, chili spice and cotija cheese.

All the yummy snacks were available like frozen chocolate bananas, frozen lemonade, pretzels, and cinnamon churros!

A full bar with every type of drinks available.

A memorable treat by having a chocolate malt for dessert.  I still remember the ones made by Carnation Ice Cream Company back in the day.  But served with a plastic spoon and not those long wooden flat sticks LOL.

And one final panoramic picture from the outfield.  I grew up as a Dodger fan and this was a fantastic event to be able to walk on the Dodger baseball field.  I'll have to bring my glove next time!

Hope everyone has a great start to the Summer season!
Regards,
