I have a soft spot for the TV shows of yesteryear as well! Shows like the Avengers, Mission Impossible, and quite possibly one of my favorite shows of all time -- The Big Valley. Did you ever watch this one? It starred Barbara Stanwyck, as the matriarch of a wealthy California family in the 1800s, along with a young, handsome Lee Majors and very young Linda Evans.
As for baseball, I think a lot of folks are Vin Scully fans. I don't know too much about America's pastime, much to my father's chagrin, but I do love to attend Dodgers games with my friends. Perhaps, you and I have been in the stands at the same time at one point or another!
