Congrats to the Australian team! While there aren't many snooker tables in the billiard halls in L.A., I've played it before and it's a difficult game to master. Anyone else here play snookers? -MW

Wrestling is a sport I most definitely do NOT watch, but here in the US there is/was a women's wrestling league called GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling), and those billiards nicknames seem like they would fit right in! *weird* Daos

Of course following Cliff Thorburn from my home of Canada who won in 1980. I used to play (and follow the sport) a lot but haven't picked up my cue in years now, and despite having coverage of just about every other sport on earth, there's no pro snooker ... 

. . . but if there were, I'd have a reason to buy a TV ;-) . . .

...famous and striking graves in the Melbourne Cemetary is Walter Lindrum's grave....a pool-table. Never had the patience for Billiards and pubs here only really do 8-ball....which I can play...ahem...
