I am green with jealousy.
I've had a go on a Mach 3, not a Mach 1 and a 250 Desmo, but nothing like a works bike.
Got to ride a Manx (not sure what year) at Broadford once. Terrifying as I am not used to engine braking (my racebike is a RS125R Honda) and the cost of the machine. I am also in the process of helping a friend out now and then with the restoration of his 88 Domi. (BY the way, whata brakes are those on the Manx? 4 leading shoe?)
You are probably aware that Australia was the largest market for Ducati during a lot of their 'darker' years. The bikes all seem to have disappeared and have been locked up in sheds...sad.
