Minor case
Back when I worked as a developer I had a minor case in my right arm, what I did was get a brace, and more the mouse to the left side. That reduced the movement load on my right side enough to let it recover. I know a couple of people who've had the operation, and it seems to work, but I have no personal experience there. I was also advised to try a single Advil/Ibuprofen when I got to work, not for the pain, but to reduce the swelling/ease symptoms
