Or 'The Oils' as we usually call them, were a superb alternative rock band that emerged from Sydney in the 1970's. They were always strong supporters of aboriginal and environmental issues and their lyrics reflected this. The lead singer, Peter Garrett, was originally a lawyer and is now one of our politicians. But it's the music I remember.
