My pen collecting days began with a Cross Townsend 30 or so years ago. I have gone through several phases — vintage, Pelikan, vintage Pelikan, etc. Montblanc forms the corpus of my collection today, and I have also representatives of several major pen houses including Delta, Yard O Led, Aurora, Montegrappa, Nakaya, and more recently Namiki. The latter, Namiki, has really grabbed my affection.

As for me I keep writing and deliberately do not use my laptop only. 99% of the time I use fountain pens when I write and I enjoy it always as much as looking at my watch instead of reading the time 😉

I enjoy writing hand written letters. And I enjoy fine stationary. In Italy, I'm still constantly searching for fine paper stores. And I use all the hotel stationary when I stay at nice hotels. The Japanese hotels have very thin paper, doesn't always work...
I must admit I have quite a number of them…😉
