I would love to hear your Grados
I never heard a pair of those. I have ZMF, Audeze, and Focal of various lines. The OG Utopia is still my favorite. I have a HiFiman around here somewhere too. I'm curious about the LINN ! Is that a Roon compatible system? I never understood streaming servers. I have only experienced significant loss of detail so never got into streaming. I bought all my files and try to only listen to WAV format. Drive space is cheap. The cost of the processors converting FLAC or MDA to native uncompressed WAV seems to create a lot of jitter or processor interference.
I tried a few dongles. They're fun and some are really good. I highly recommend Nunchaku and DC Elite. The Cayin RU6 and RU7 are very good too but quirky. I have the ONIX Alpha and the Beta is in the mail almost here. Audio Quest can go into the circular filing cabinet 
in my experience.
For portable nothing beats the Chord Hugo2 in my opinion. Years later, still the best!
My Burson Soloist Voyager MAX with the Fusion Core power supply fried. That was my favorite amp for earphones and headphones. A bit overkill for iems, but wow what a huge 3-D sound stage. Sounded like Carnegie Hall. Hope it comes back like new. Might just have to buy another one and sell the repaired one.

has made so far. The Chronicle and Kronos are the same thing except the case was nicer for the very limited Chronicle. The Kronos is half the price and the drivers are all the same with same tuning and it graphs the same.

I've not tried any customs yet. I have to find an audiologist to make me a mold someday. I want a Prestige but $2000 to 3000 more for a Prestige custom for an already expensive IEM seems out of reach
Yes, wife's and my set are both customs, makes a huge different imho.
Hope one day you get the opportunity to go custom, be sure your audiologist ensures your jaw is open about an inch when doing the molds.
The main reason I haven't tried customs is that Noble doesn't offer
the newest models as customs. I think the fit will be much better than tips that drastically alter the sound from IEMs. I think eventually I have to get some custom shells.
Makes perfect sense. Nowadays there are many more brands of custom IEM than back in 2015 when i got mine.

Most all of the sources I use the balanced output always sounds better.
There is always more power and dynamics compared to single ended output. However, Chord does a great job and that is the only way they run their circuits.

The GRADOs are of course “good” but sometimes a bit flat but the nuanced tonality (drum solo on Abby road for instance)

Consider the Hiby RS6. Much less money and really great performance. Or for dongles the DC Elite or Nunchaku. These are well worth the asking prices.
