... my vote goes to traditional Macao too ... . These big luxury complexes are very nice but i can imagine after a couple of days you want to run out ... . Thanks for the post Andrew .. Filip

It seems like an opportunity squandered. Why make a replica hotel when you could design something new and unique! A

... and like many things it must have come down to economies of scale and money saved. It was a fun place to stay for 5 days and the kids had a great time exploring. I wouldn't want to stay at the same Venetian in Vegas though - but I would happily visit ...

Hello Andrew, great post! I've never been to Venetian in Macao but when looking at your canal and outside pics, it looks exactly like the Vegas one! What did you think of the service, amenities, etc of your stay there? -MW

I believe it is an exact copy and run by the same conglomerate as the Las Vegas hotel. There is even a resident Cirque du Soleil show that I highly recommend. Considering the number of visitors and guests at the resort, I was very happy with the service a...

Hi ATM, I believe the Macau and Vegas Venetian's are identical, so you will feel right at home (and not get lost as often as I did!). This suite is called the "Verona". About 1600 square feet with separate living, dining and sleeping areas, a kitchen and ...

at the restaurant in the middle of the casino is fantastic. Macau is nice but no where in comparison to the Strip.
