This I’ve never seen or heard of before, nor the Hardy monument for some reason. I come back home to England annually and history is so densely packed you can fall over it at every step. Yet it’s still very easy to miss important things.

I only recently learnt of it, though I’m Dorset born (strong in arm, thick in head) we always used to visit Hardy’s monument when I was young and admire the view. Now there are numerous walks all around the surrounding area both long and short and it’s pa... 

The Thomas Hardy monument piques my interest.
