Getting my 12 year old daughter started on vintage watches!

(The vintage is tongue in cheek btw)

Bought this LNIB and it just came in.  One of the first watch lines that ignited the spark for me. I thought the POP Swatches were so cool (and still do). Nothing felt better than popping that watch out and playing with it in class, or wearing it on the sleeve of a sweatshirt.

Hope to start the bug with her, but I think this watch will be too ‘uncool’ for her by the time she is 13. Need to start thinking about the next watch for her (and that’s how it all begins smile

Any suggestions?

Oh and mine to match - something for the fun of it smile

All great suggestions - I am leaning towards Longines - need to look for models for a young ‘lady’ now

That’s a great suggestion.

Had not crossed my mind - on their website is a 32 - is that the one you mean or a vintage?

Thanks Nico!

But haven’t found a Seiko that’s suited for a teenage girl yet. Any pointers? P.S. that Favre Leuba - sublime!

Usually stores that carry Seiko have a wide variety but i would say a starter diver.

Or vintage 6309. Make it playful with nato straps. ...

Lovely divers!

Will check them out - need to keep an eye on what size she will like. Thanks again.
