Nova Scotia! Not a place on most travel itineraries.

It looks beautifully desolate. How's the temperature? M4

Unseasonably warm — nearly 80 F today, but a cold front is moving in this evening.

My birthplace - Halifax, NS. What part of the province are you visiting? Enjoy the maritimes!

Halifax is such a vibrant harbor city. I have a series of meetings in Halifax but we had some time to explore today — passed thru Cole Harbour, the home of Sydney Crosby today!!

Nathan McKinnon was born on the Halifax/Cole Harbour area too.

They were the only rivals to the NY Yankees for "greatest sports franchise" back then. What a team!

I agree. The 77/78 season Montreal only lost 10 games.

I think the first one really stands out. You get a feel for the isolation of the place.

Ron, great choice of travel companion! I was wondering if that wave can be surfed?

No idea! Quite a crowd gathered here to watch the tide roll in at 12.07 pm Atlantic Time (it was an about 10 minutes late!).
By: orahu : October 8th, 2025-21:39
The Fundy tide staff indicated the wave or the bore was about 4 feet high.
