Congratulations on the NWA ππ»ππ»
You raise some interesting points. I have just recently been looking into the construction industry - it appears it’s the last significant industry that has fully or at least largely resisted the Industrial Revolution. Buildings still made on site as more or less one offs by and large.
And in many cases in a very unsustainable manner - land use growing at twice the pace of population addition in cities. Definitely an industry that could use some revamping in the decades to come. With shockingly low R&D (and even of that 75% of the global total takes place in China alone), a productivity that has dropped by 20% over the last 50 years (as opposed to an improvement of ~150% in manufacturing), and hence an ever worsening price / performance ratio.
