Fast. Reasonably comfortable. And not terribly stressful like an airport. And most passengers are quiet enough and polite enough that there's little disturbance on the train. When I take the train in Switzerland, there's often a ruckus - some soccer fans making a ruckus and smoking on board was what happened last time between Lausanne and Geneva. I'm not fond of public transportation, but I do take A LOT OF IT! Have to reduce my Carbon Footprint whenever possible!

Temples are great!! We had matcha ice cream on the top of one temple, after losing like 10 pounds in water weight!! 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣

The 7-11 ice cream bars are very good...
...I especially recommend the waffle version...waffle on the outside, ice cream on the inside. It won't melt as quickly : )

I was just there a couple months ago! Nice memories. Safe trip to Tokyo. 3 hour train ride from Kyoto. Enjoy Restaurant Sant Pau!
