Thanks for your reply. I only follow the news on papers. I don't do facebook, though. In today's papers (The Sunday Times), I just so happened saw an article about her titled 'Susan Boyle doesn't want a new look' and it is heartwarming to read that she is untroubled by people comparing her dowdy image with her angelic voice. I can only wish her the best and if she ever changes, which is quite inevitable (knowing how fame and limelight usually affect people), I also can only hope the change is for the better of hers!
Is it big news in US, too?

I just read about her story...
I just read about her heart breaking story in which she stopped her pursuit of singing in 1997 to look after her sick mother who passed away in 2007. When she appeared on the show, it was the first time since the death of her mother that she sang. -MW

i was going to mention Paul Potts Anthony, but didnt think anyone would have heard of him. Potts i think has the advantage through age and looks. male singers can get away with more than females and looks wise she was near the end of the queue. Graham
