A few times indeed .. BUT ...

 

... this time they will most probably be taken over by a car manufacturer which isn't a bad thing i guess ...


... i do think they should leave the current Ducati engineers a lot of freedom, because when you see the technological advantages they have to other motorcycle brands this isn't a comparable case like Audi taking over Lamborghini ... .
Ducati's do run without problems, it's always the 'bike'people wanting to buy a Ducati but not wanting to spend the money on correct maintenance smile ... i saw a lot of stupid things the past 20 years (one of my friends has a Ducati-store, he has been giving several times the award for best dealer in Northern Europe). On the contrary i've seen a lot of twin boxer engines from a certain German brand smile brake after a couple of thousand miles ... smile ... .

If a car manufacturer has to take over Ducati i really hope it's Audi ... or Renaultsport smile ... now that would be something smile
