We got down to +42 F in parts of San Diego county last week. You would have thought it was the end of world by listening to the weather forecasters. Some people even put on long pants and wore shoes instead of sandals.

our one holiday to Disneyland with the kids was in February. The weather was like early fall at home so we wandered around in shorts and T-shirts while the natives wore their puffy coats! No crowds, though, so I went on Space Mountain five times in a row....

I'm in Toronto with barely anything and -5 or something. I think I'm the only one who would like -42 year round with snow. I can take the cold but not the heat. Everytime I go to Singapore to visit family the heat nearly kills me. Great food though.

This week i was outside just wearing a pull at minus 10 C ... after about 5 minutes i called it a day. With the correct clothes it’s actually no problem ... but minus 40 ? No waay i can survive that. Even the dog prefers to stay inside 😁. ...
