Capitalism: you lease some cows from a farmer. You work sunrise to sunset milking the cows, but you have to give all the milk to the farmer as rent. You die without ever owning a cow. The farmer buys a yacht.

Yup
Working for a living without owning is a losing game. At some point, you gotta own something if you want to really profit much. This generally is an ok system as long as you're not in a poverty trap. Then... Well good luck.
