I am not getting upset, I am just sick and tired of people saying "fake" without any arguments simply because it is the first time they see a particular watch
I can cite the example of a Omega Seamaster 300 in solid gold that some "specialists" labelled fake without further do, but the watch turned out to be a 100% genuine watch as I suspected. And I do not consider myself an Omega expert, so much for these so-called "experts"...

Unusual solid gold Camaro
I am really at loss on this one. Yes, the case looks wrong and should be cushion-shaped, but I would hate to call it a franken because all the parts look genuine to me, including the dial. Any help would be much appreciated...

Wrong case, that's for sure. The dial looks good, but it should not be that movement.
The movement for the Camaro, is, if I am not wrong, a Valjoux 7733.
It would appear that a Valjoux 72 it is the right movement for a Camaro

David Chalmers, of "Calibre 11" says it's a fake.
No prototypes were made with a round case.

Saying JUST "fake" is so easy. He would have been more convincing had he said "franken". The movement is NOT fake, it is an original Valjoux 72 for Heuer-Leonidas. The case appears genuine Carrera. The dial looks genuine to me.

I'm sure he meant that it was a frankenwatch, and I am trying to clarify that. There seems no question that all the parts are genuine Heuer, but I believe he is saying no Camaro was ever released with a round case.
