I would say no most don't, especially intrinsically as a way of defining their brand identity

Breguet, Cartier, FP Journe, GP, Hublot, IWC, JLC , Montblanc... Patek,  Vacheron, Zenith? If any of these use celebrities, intrinsically, as the popularly recognized way of defining their brand... in the manner of TH or Omega, Please let me know if I am mistaken.I am not pretending that none of these manufactures ever used celebrity to promote their brand... but I am suggesting that TH does exceptionally use superficial celebrities to  define their brand, and that their brand is currently in question as to whether it is realistically a Swiss made brand... anymore. Why single them out? Because of their very famous current president ... CEO... ... and their level of financial success.... and of their ubiquity in the marketplace... their 'brand' might have no identity if it wasn't the identity of actors, athletes, so on... and it kind of follows with the gossip, that TH may be in fact an empty name that is no longer Swiss, as we very recently believed Swiss Made to be.

That's what Patek's Thierry says, in essence, (not his exact words)... I'm not trying to troll here... but I have always been turned off by TH's celebrity approach... often I have kind of like a TH entry level watch... then been turned off by the celebrit...

Dear Mostel, I do support your viewpoint. A number of brands practice this annoying trend to use ambassadors. For what purpose? I don't know, I rather think they dilute their brand image in the long-term. The photos above are nice to look at (attractive p...
