Astronomical price of Monaco Split seconds

 was reading the article on the new Monaco Split Seconds Chrono in A Blog to Watch

It is an interesting watch and I like the design a lot.  But I was shocked that it's priced at $135,000 USD.  At that price, I just feel there are so many other options that I would rather go with, such as Lange Double Split.  As a matter of fact, I can't imagine anyone spend that kind of cash on this watch.  In comparison, my Montblanc Rattrapante seems to be a true bargain.

That is indeed quite the hefty price tag! Yes, many other watches I would get for that money instead. Yes, your Monthblanc is more interesting for sure!

Most of the time, pieces like that are meant to function as "concepts"

TAG is wanting that sticker shock to sell the collection which would appear a bargain. 😂
