Yes! Good decision - a very few gold GS in captivity ...
I've only ever seen this one and I (with some encouraging from my wife) foolishly let it go to another Seiko fan. Regretted it ever since too.

These days I have been more cautious about my acquisitions....I made a solemn resolution not to make any impulsive purchases, and will only buy a watch if I cannot lose it in my mind a week after handling it in my hand, in order to avoid subsequent regret...

.. surely it is the rarest of the re-issued 44GS series. How is the weight? Comfortable? As for me, I would like the original SS version but that's me. Congrats! I agree that the blue hand is very special. Ken
