Is this the original GS strap? If so I am impressed that they got more adventurous after all. Great watch at any rate and wear it in great health!

They opted for the ltd edition one 1850 Denier for the rougher optic, the regular 2 versions are 1000 Denier Nylon. Inside they put a rubber inlay against the sweat. The limited edition also comes with a blue silicon strap, nee design. Pic to follow.

And a great choice from Grand Seiko

To match the texture of the dial, they opted for thicker 1680 Cordura nylon vs 1000 for the regular silver and black dial ones. Such attention to details. The inner side is a rubberised lining against sweat.

That is a very nice looking watch, and the case work is really impressive.

To have a mostly brushed GS :o) It clearly emphasis the casual smart side of the watch.

The mostly brushed case with some alternating polished surfaces reminds me of the mighty Royal Oak... also the brushed bezel with the polished rim. The dial really changes from a deep saturated matt blue to a lighter metallic blue with some luster. Superb...
