The SBGH035 - my first grail Grand Seiko π―π΅

The first modern βSpecialβ - I.e. specially regulated and minutely altered movement to pass the even stricter chronometry specs than the standard GS ones - in stainless steel and a wonderfully universal watch. It even has a dive rating of 100m - if you use the correct strap (not leather) thatβs perfectly feasible.
The zaratsu is first rate, as expected and like the Chopard I posted yesterday, a watch where WPS alerted me to the existence and appeal π

The combination of the finely regulated hi-beat movement, this dial and the overall finishing did it for me.

And I remember when I had it timed it was about 0,8 seconds fast a day, which is certainly within the spec ππ»
