The other grand feu enamel Seiko Presage - the blue dial SPB069 π΅π―π΅
Shortly after the anniversary chronographs featuring either an Urushi or Grand Feu Enamel dial from Seiko Presage came the next step, with the classical three handers. I got the SPB069 with the dark blue enamel dial, although on many shots it appears black (if you do not catch the light or sun just right).
While the watch doesnβt have the sunk in subdials of the chronographs, the date window and the dial center show off that itβs enamel relatively well.
The design is classic with some nice twists, like the little moon as a seconds hand counterweight.
I just wished they kept raising the game and changing / developing the format, as opposed to resorting to subversions of the same after that.
Be that as it may, it makes for a nice, elegant and stealthy watch, with just enough interest for those in the know.
Any others out there?

That dial has so much depth.
i owned that one and the next gen presage, gave them to my daughters. I hope they appreciate them as much as I did.

One of the downsides of the watchβ¦
But that probably allowed for the price point to be where it was. I believe Seiko didnβt have slimmer movements outside of the more expensive range π€·π»ββοΈ
Probably true...but if they removed the display back,
which doesn't enhance the watch imho,it could be a mite thinner
