Seiko

Shortly after the anniversary chronographs featuring either an Urushi or Grand Feu Enamel dial from Seiko Presage came the next step, with the classical three handers. I got the SPB069 with the dark blue enamel dial, although on many shots it appears blac...  

I find the strap is a nice contrast to the dial 🙌🏻

It looks very organic like pocket watches of old which gives it a lot of charm!

The Roman numerals, otherwise not my favorite on watches somehow seem to work here too, probably for the same reason 😊👍🏻

i owned that one and the next gen presage, gave them to my daughters. I hope they appreciate them as much as I did.

But let’s by all means hope that they do. Which was the second one you had?

But that probably allowed for the price point to be where it was. I believe Seiko didn’t have slimmer movements outside of the more expensive range 🤷🏻‍♂️

Would have preferred that. They subsequently did that with the SJE083E King Seiko 👏🏻👍🏻

If it was a tad slimmer that would certainly have helped but at this level the overall package is quite good 🙌🏻
