Dad taught me to solder when I was 5. It's easy to get it right, or wrong. I'd say more, yet there are books dedicated to the 'art'.

Audio Note Kit 1 single ended triode amp. It worked out fine then and it still works today. Before undertaking that task I bought a Weller solder station and put in some practice, but the Kit 1 mainly uses PCB's so that made things pretty easy. It's cool ...
