Sharing 5 beautiful Seiko and Grand Seiko watches before the end of 2019

The Astron is not the most typical watch I would buy, but it has a nice bit of technology inside it, since I had no higher technology watch 2 years ago, I bought it.  It is very useful when travelling.
The Presage then followed, it is just a simple mechanical watch but with a very light blue nicely made dial.  Honestly it is not the most accurate but not bad either.
The Grand Seiko limited high-beat in yellow gold of course is an excellent crafted watch and it is very accurate, only about +/- 2 seconds a day.  And the movement on the sapphire case back is very pleasant to look at.
The Seiko Prospex is one of the two recent acquired watches, I really like the sunburst vivid blue colour that changes with sunlight.  It is 200m water resistance, more than enough for my lifestyle.  The accuracy is better than the Presage which I consider is very good for the price point.  The uni-directional bezel is also attractive and very smooth to operate.
Last, the newer and the last purchase of this year is the Seiko Presage Limited Chronograph.  I have to thank the input of the Seiko's forum Moderator and  members that provided me with advices since I was on the sideline whether I should spend that much.  And when I saw it in person, I did think it is worth it.  Accuracy is very good about +/-5 seconds a day and craftsmanship is also very nice.

Besides this five, I also have some other Grand Seiko watches, Seiko watches but not yet having any Credor.   Regardless of the price point, they are all finely made and I think I am quite hook on arguably the best Japanese watch though it is still mass-produced and may not keep the most resale value.  There are Independent Japanese watchmakers Mr. Masahiro Kikuno, Mr. Hajime Asaoka, Mr. Naoya Hida that make custom high-end watches, of course of the most excellent quality and I yet to explore since the prices are very high and they can only make a few watches a year.

Please feel free to share your passion of Japanese Manufacture watches during this holiday seasons.

I also like Japanese watches, both for their aesthetics and how they just seem different from more traditional watches. I saw the HA watch in London and I loved the design and the huge balance on the movement, 15mm and titanium. Quite a good price for a w...
