Seiko 6138 - "Jumbo" and "UFO"
These early Seiko automatic chronographs are amazing. They key is finding one that is 100% original, and hasn't been trashed. These are both pristine examples - about 50 years old, and still look sharp, retro, hip. They function flawlessly too (having just been serviced by someone who knows this movement inside and out). A fun thing to collect that won't break the bank. LOTS of fake stuff out there, so be careful. But I have immense respect for Seiko, what they did then, and what they do now.

Both very cool

These are both very cool watches. I also have the Seiko ("recraft") - my wife wears it a lot. I think I paid $130 for it new. Insane value. Keeps spot on time. I think I just got lucky! Those movements (4r36) are sturdy but not exactly chronometers.
