Nice watches and good post
I'm as appreciative of Seiko as you are. I'll go as far as to say that its watches of the 1960s and 1970s are synonymous with what I consider to be archetypal watches (alongside Omega).
My own pursuits are a little more conservative, though. While I love aesthetics embedded in those decades, I'll typically go for new versions of old designs for reasons of practicality. It's why I recently picked up the SRPC13B1 (with a date ring in Portuguese), and elsewhere a Favre-Leuba Raider Deep Blue 41. These are just two of several watches in my collection that draw inspiration from two fascinating decades in watchmaking.
