A couple of days overdue (been the start of November) but the SBGH035 has now been in my collection for a year. And I do not regret it for a single special hi-beat second It is in many ways my most versatile watch. At just under 38mm it works really well ...

Having held this one, I can say it truly is everything you wrote. Just a great watch for (almost) any occasion. I hope you enjoy it for many more years to come.

But the reserve indicator is on the back! Unacceptable!!!!

But, at that price, I feel it loses precisely what GS is known for and what it represents. So, I am looking at something in a lower price range.

two years ago in November when my AD showed it to me when it first came out and i only hesitated for a few days before sealing the deal---it was the guilloche dial that did it!! Enjoying it as much as you are! best henry

I especially love the dial...at some angles, the waves completely disappear and at others, it is very prominent...in one of the pictures, it even appears to be off white. Just amazing how poetic it is with the play of light! Congratulations on the first a... 

Just like you say - so much fun with light. It can look completely white, then pearlescent, sometimes the brand logo disappears, then shines strongly... Same with the seconds hand Lots to admire IMHO but then again I am slightly biased

Since we\'ve been together In the case of the SBGH035 it is easy - I just checked the date of my first post on it here Work commitments kept me from getting it done on the birthday proper but will hopefully manage better next year

Congrats on having the company of this beautiful GS for a full year! Really glad to hear a fellow SBGH035 owner has so much love for the watch. I guess if there's one criticism for GS, it'd be how the brand regularly puts on a new dial and calls it a LE. ... 

You are right - all are definitely not equal As for dial, another one recently shown by KIH seems to have a somewhat similar pattern, namely the SBGW049. Technically a lady\'s model but then again it comes in a typical GS size of 37mm and looks as unisex ... 

Thanks for the info on the SBGW049. That looks nice, but it isn't special likes ours, both figuratively and literally haha! Ken
