These are real new official Seiko models - they are not modified, just bad to begin with.

I like that Seiko is taking risks and experimenting with different colours and shapes. So many watchmakers, especially the bigger brands, do not want to make something really "out there" but Seiko does it, despite being massive! So, while I am not a fan (...

“Bad” Maybe the wrong term; these are aimed at a different audience

Though described as “men’s watches” I think they are catering to a Japanese subculture. Not interested! Mike ...

I may not be the target audience. I may not buy one. However, I appreciate that Seiko is producing products that could bring new blood into the watch world. Maybe one of those initial buyers will explore Seiko as a brand and move up the food chain with an...

I remember the first time I saw a leopard Rolex Daytona. I thought, WTF! But then age and constant exposure to this site relaxed my senses a bit and before I knew it I was appreciating gem set watches. These wild designs are still not for me but ..

 By: Echi : June 17th, 2020-19:50
.. I can understand why they exist and where they fit. Seiko might not even be Seiko if they stopped venturing out design wise. Variety and volume in whatever shape or form is part of their DNA. Seiko Galante, anyone? Good post, btw, as it gives our taste...

It's easy to mock that which we choose not to understand, but rarely does such willful ignorance reflect well on those that do the mocking. Incidentally, I have a full set of Seiko JDM 1980's catalogues that I've just flicked through to double check what ...
