It’s by directional GMT. There’s also a 24 hour scale on the rehaute Therefore you can actually have three different time zones at the ready. Thanks for looking. Best regards, Tony [nt]

I agree with your observation. However it makes legibility easy. There are two GMT functions. One on the basil and the other On the rehaute. Actually giving you three different times zones at any given time if desirable [nt]
