I'll add my congratulations—and envy—to those already registered.

I'm fortunate to own to 003, but would love to have another in the series. The smaller-cased Grand Seikos are really perfect for my wrist.

Here's a poem for you, going forward. Written by the American William Stafford, whose quiet, yet powerful voice keeps him perpetually in my thoughts, this simple sonnet contains my hopes for all of us—a thoughtful reminder of what's really important. And you have this beautiful timepiece to remind you of all of the potential your future holds… Marvelous!    FH

You Reading This, Be Ready
by William Stafford

Starting here, what do you want to remember?
How sunlight creeps along a shining floor?
What scent of old wood hovers, what softened
sound from outside fills the air?

Will you ever bring a better gift for the world
than the breathing respect that you carry
wherever you go right now? Are you waiting
for time to show you some better thoughts?

When you turn around, starting here, lift this
new glimpse that you found; carry into evening
all that you want from this day. This interval you spent
reading or hearing this, keep it for life —

What can anyone give you greater than now,
starting here, right in this room, when you turn around?

That is a classic piece for sure. I'm fan of yellow gold case (compared to rose or white gold)
