Help....forget what this watch was!

Seiko purists! I remember seeing a Seiko around six years ago now ...and I’m trying to find it and I come up with nothing.

It was big, titanium, sporty, crazy legible white hands that were simple, spring drive I believe, crown at 12 to prevent mountaineering mishaps. Thought it was a prospex. But not sure. US retail was maybe $3K. Saw someone wearing it in the states. Then saw one at a Seiko boutique. I really liked the design, but was a stupid snob about spring drive.

If someone knows what I’m talking about, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Robert

Robert, you are thinking of the Landmaster SBDB015

I love the fuel gauge for winding status. The crown is at 12. Overall it's a big and striking watch well worth having in one's collection. Prices are still $1500-2500 Cazalea ...

Could be worse ;) [nt]
