Would love to hear more abt the original 6306/6309!
Any idea where the differences are, between the jdm 6306 and export 6309? How so is 6306 better than the 6309? Looking forward to learn!!

..this ref. 6306 is for the Japanese market and manufactured from 1976 to 1981. And its caliber is better than the ref. 6309 for USA and RW market. Thanks KMII!!! All the Best. Juan

I didn't know that they used to have different movements fitted for the JDM version. Unlike your 6306 vs 6309, the recent Seiko 5 and 4R3x's movements are virtually the same except for the assembly locations. Have a great Christmas & happy New Year ahead!...

The guy who wrote article I referenced (years ago) had already taken the photos. I just found them, did some clean-up, then put on the annotations and arrows to make it clear. Cheers, Cazalea
