Thank you for your great reply. May I ask what you mean by "the signaling potential is negligible for the peer group"?
Do you mean this in the economics sense, in terms of Seiko not being able to communicate its high-end brand identity to other watch houses (peer) and consumer (principal)? Or do you mean this in the political-sociological sense, where a GS on the wrist does not signal high-end status to the wearer's (consumer's) peer social group?
