... which makes it irresistible.
I bought one of the very few first generation black dials which arrived to my Country around 2009.
I was amazed with the design and finish of this watch but after purchasing I found it too high and with a tendency to rotate on the wrist due to its weight. After several trials of wearing it, it remained in its box (even with its plastics covering the case) for a long time.
One day my son came home for a visit and viewed the Big Rolex on my wrist and was surprised as he didn´t know I had purchased it and have never heard about the model. He said he loved it and his face showed that when he tried the watch.
So when he left my home I took the watch, and put it again inside its box with all its tags and papers (the plastics still on) and waited till his birthday a couple of months later and presented it to him.
Curiously a few years ago, I was offered a Cameron version by a local AD and I could not resist falling in love with its gradient blue dial. So I took it home. It was just a couple of months before the new version with the 22 mm bracelet was announced by Rolex.
I´m sure the new version which you own feels much better on the wrist because it better supports and distributes the weight of this superb watch.
I wish you´ll keep loving and enjoying your DSSD in the best of good health!! Stay safe! Abel.
Mine says hello!
