Yes I get scared too
Must carry a protection device when underwater.
In SE Asia, I get scared of the titan triggerfishes, which can make a nasty wound. Here Down Under, it is the large sharks, like the GW, Bull, or Bronze Whalers.
I wear a knife strapped to my thigh, and also use the sharkshield deterrant device when diving or swimming. I have a feeling that the Shark Mitigation Tech in the form of a striped wetsuit, might have saved me that faithful day I met Mr GW Shark. I must have looked like the biggest banded snake to it.

I love dive watches too. They're the perfect companion for your adventures, not only in the ocean. Hopefully I won't run into any sharks anytime soon though 😅

They do come up to the waters close to the shore. GWs love to hunt where there are seals, and seals love to hang out near the shores too.
