But thanks for your reply, because i recognize regretting having sold some watches (thankfully not all). Now i have to figure out whether i will regret letting the opportunity to buy the DD go by…i think because the DD is not as hard to get it will be ok. If say in months from now i still think about buying the DD i still can (i think), whereas if i sell the YM and GMT for a lower price than i think is reasonable, i will never get the opportunity to do it over again, heck i will never be able to buy the GMT again…so your comment really helps, thank you for that!

Amazing what 5 years does to the market. Easy 5-8k discounts are completely gone on the DD.
I have two comments to confuse the situation...

That is what I would do. Not necessarily the best approach, but hey
I always wore it under a shirt and cuffs so that it only saw daylight when I chose to extend my wrist. The few times I wore it on holiday it attracted too much attention from strangers.
Today my choices are brands and models that most would not recognise and I am much less self-conscious when out and about.
