Well, Art...
Although this one is not officially marked "Chronometer" on its dial, the caliber 70.3 inside is personally considered a historic work from VEB GUB! According to a GUB Caliber 70.3 brochure displayed in the book "Wristwatch Chronometers" by Fritz von Osterhausen," there is something interesting....
"The Top-Grade Glashutte Quality Watch and the Glashutte Chronometer-Model Wristwatch,
Caliber 70.3, are prominent members of our family of high class products which have been awarded the highest official designation of quality "Q." Historically interesting, isn't it?

Its finally on my wrist..
The best birthday present ever! The watch is indistinguishable from new. There isn't even a crease on the strap. I guess if I had more than 700 watches, there would be many that were unworn....
