Too many of these posts
We get so many posts from people who only have a "passing" interest in extremely hard to get watches and then say they just walked into an AD and out they go with one( in this case two days). Now the ADs are holding them back. I cannot speak to the Rolex market in Manila but here in the USA the Daytona C, especially the white dial, is a very rare commodity and very hard to get. These watches sell for a huge premium still.

I never realized how captivating this version of the daytona is. I must admit that when i requested for an allocation, i was almost half-hearted about this model. No wonder the daytona is, among many watch enthusiasts, THE rolex to own. This one is a keep...
It's not that rare
Recent conversation with high volume AD confirms the fact that delivery occurs regularly. AD has 1-2 in stock at any point in time. However, standard response is of course different, to create the image of supply and demand. Unless you are a good customer...

i am just thanking my AD for allocating one for me. I think it is very clear in my post.
It's also not that hard a watch to get, depending on the the customer.
I interchange rarity with hard to get sometimes without thinking. My apologies. However, you get my point on my previous post. As I said, my AD has them in stock, but he has a waitlist.
That's an interesting fact or insight
From what I have heard of stories so far, the Daytona C is indeed a hot item. But if you are a valued customer that bought several pieces from the AD, they can actually prioritize your allocation request and "queue jump" you once there are new arrivals.

That was what I was told as well when I asked (teased) the ADs while traveling in Germany...
I wasn't expecting to get it and I think they just wanted me to give up the idea of finding one 😁 But, you know what? I just got the call yesterday and will be getting it this weekend after waiting for about 1 year 😁 So you are the first to know. Rgds Ray...

I think daytonas have and will remain a hard to get model ever if rolex keeps giving one per AD a month. It's been like that for years and seems to carry on forever, so let's get used to it and smile, buying one with a premium now will not be a bad move, ...
The previuos model
maybe. The new Ceramics are shipping much less. Some ADs say they haven not gotten a white dial even yet. The black is better but not by much. All the ADs tell me they just cannot get them here in the US.
