new years purchase whilst in singapore
hi guys , i haven't posted for a while as i really haven't had much happening on the watch front but on a recent trip to the maldives this past xmas i picked up these to beauties in singapore. I love blue and green and these two ticked the boxes for me.
Before you ask there was a fair amount of behind the scenes work to secure these pieces so it wasn't purely luck and these certainly weren't in the shop window waiting for a buyer. With the James Cameron i've always thought the watch looked top heavy in relation to the bracelet so i've opted for a rubber b strap , it not only reduces the weight but in my opinion it finishes the look more satisfactory at the lugs. With the Pam 690 i'll probably look around for a waterproof leather strap so it can see some water action whilst its still summer here.

the dial really pops out once it hits the sun. i know a lot of people say its a big watch but i find it ok, it sort of reminds of the crazy milguass colours that rolex came up with a bit.
