Iโ€™m at a client engagement in Kansas City and Iโ€™ve just won the James Cameron Super Bowl!!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

I was having a late lunch at Q39 and received โ€œthat callโ€ as I was eating. Obviously, I didnโ€™t finish my lunch and raced to the AD. I met this SA back in November, which was the first time I saw the 136660 in the metal. I stayed in contact and miracles do happen!
Unfortunately, I had to leave the box there since I had no room to store it in my luggage. But I fly back on Monday and will ensure there is room!

Best,
Mark

About the Rolex Sea Dweller Ref. 136660

The Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller ref. 136660 is positioned as a professional saturation diving instrument within the Oyster Perpetual collection, designed for extreme underwater exploration. It represents the pinnacle of Rolex's dive watch engineering, offering enhanced water resistance and a more substantial case profile compared to the standard Sea-Dweller models.

This reference features a 44mm Oyster case crafted from Oystersteel, equipped with a Ringlock System that allows it to withstand immense pressure. It houses the Caliber 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, featuring a Chronergy escapement and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch is distinguished by its D-blue dial, transitioning from brilliant blue to abyssal black, and a unidirectional rotatable bezel with a black Cerachrom insert.

For collectors, the ref. 136660, particularly with the D-blue dial, holds significance due to its association with James Cameron's Deepsea Challenger expedition. It is valued for its robust construction, advanced technical features, and its status as a highly capable and visually distinctive professional diver's watch.
