this is the issue....
.....on this Milgauss, I just cannot decide whether i prefer silver or black. No question, red on black USUALLY looks best. But with this watch, I am not so sure. The potential for patina on the silver is alluring. And, i have to say the rest of my family seem to prefer the silver dial too. Yet, I still come back to the black to have another think.
I think I will chew over this for a lot longer.

agree...this 1019 reference is one of the top "hunts" for me. It is the one that has got away so many times. But 100% agree....a must-have in a collection. This is a beauty

This watch looks specially elegant, and like it better the straight seconds hands. By some reason, I don´t personaly like the distinctive "ray" seconds hand of some versions of the Milgauss. The clear dial, also adds to the plain and elegant look of this ...

Which is strange as Black dials, in general, are my favs... But I think the silver dial is very coherent with the watch, and at least you have th pleasure to face some nice patined indexes. Yes, my friend, I will be in Paris around the 18th, till the 22d....

No, sadly back to Paris, but I have a lot of quick trips to do in Sept.
Wil come back to Trieste for a speical week end, in 10 days... As for the 1019, can't agree more with you... Will grab one, I see it in my not too distant horizon, if I find the correct one, of course. All the best! Nicolas
