The next generation.

I gave this Datejust to my father over 20 years ago. He wore it every day until a couple of years ago when I bought him an Omega Speedy and since then it has just sat in my vault. The jubilee bracelet was so worn it is unwearable. This picture on the right give you an idea of the sort of use it has had.
So I have spent only about 30 mins and some elbow grease getting most of the plastic glass scratches out. Gave the case a buff up new strap and it’s good to go for another 20 years. I will be giving this watch to my eldest boy on his birthday as he has managed not to destroy or misplace his 18th TAG I bought him.
Let’s see how he gets on with this before his 21st 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽.

I feel a little battered after working too hard this week. 😂 Best Gatsby

For a second I thought there was such a thing as meteorite crystal…

He certainly got plenty of good use out of it! That’s really nice to see. Your son will definitely appreciate it as a gift.

Nice watch and a great story to go with it.

Have you had it serviced?

Remarkable.

Great watch and history behind it. Well done.
