The interesting thing.....
.....is that watch collecting seems to differentiate along a number of lines. But there is one differentiator that is very overt......those that understand that trains do leave the station, and those that continually fight that fact. Markets go up. Markets go down. Best just to observe it without trying to justify it.....
No question.....the Daytona PN has a lot of charm....it is a joy to wear. Is it "worth" the money? Who knows. Is a Jackson Pollock worth over $200m? Who knows. Best just to recognise that the train has left the station rather than describe it as a hideous fetish.....albeit exaggeratedly. Aesthetically....i like it.

What a hideous fetish. I am clearly exaggerating but amongst many other chronographs from that era, it would be for me one with quite a low appeal esthetically speaking. But then I also think that pill cabinets are ridiculous.
